A RECORD OF SERVICE

For 35 years, I served our nation in the US Army.  My four combat tours and award of two Bronze Star Medals demonstrate my commitment to our community and our nation. When not in uniform, I worked to strengthen our community through the support of organizations involved in:

  • improving education
  • supporting our veterans
  • antipoverty initiatives
  • economic development and building small businesses
  • resettling allied refugees
  • improving police-community relations
